Hot Sedu Celebrity Hairstyles of 2008

Some of the hottest hairstyles of 2008 are often referred to as Sedu. This is in reference to one of the most popular flatiron companies on the market today. Sedu is the name of their ceramic flatiron and all the celebrities use it to create their sleek and smooth hairstyles. The straighter the better for the hot trends of 2008 and there are a number of celebrities who have taken this and adapted their 2007 hairstyles to blend naturally and fabulously with this years new trends.

Jennifer Aniston is one actress who has always loved the straight look and manages to pull it off with grace and elegance no matter what she is wearing or where she is. Whether she is sporting a short bob or the long tresses which have been known to create her unique elegance, she has always possessed the style which is so much in fashion today. Jennifer Lopez is yet another actress who has passed through many different hairstyle trends but always stuck to the Sedu look and made it look tremendous!

These are not the only two actresses who love the Sedu look. Katie Holmes is currently wearing a sleek and blunt cut bob that is both Sedu and graceful all in one. She offers the traditional, yet side swept bangs to spice up the basic bob into something sultry. These hairstyles are so incredibly easy to obtain, all it takes is one of this famous Sedu flatirons and you have a look of the stars!

For longer hair, the style is very much attainable and perhaps even that more suited for stars like Amanda Bynes and Ashlee Simpson. These are not the only two young actresses who are also taking advantage of this sexy style, but they are to who wear it quite well! It is a bit harder to obtain this sleek look for longer hair cuts only because it can take so much longer to straighten each and every hair section. To obtain these sexy looks yourself it is a great idea to pin up the top layers of your hair and start at the bottom. Once you have the complete bottom layers straightened you can move on to the next layer and so on. This is one of the most effective ways to make sure your hair is straight but not only this, that it stays straight all day.

A great twist on the Sedu hairstyles for longer hair is to keep your hair straight and then create curls which gather at the very tips of your hair. This takes the two most popular trends and creates one elegant and sexy look for any occasion. This style is also easy to create; of course you straighten your hair first and then create the curls you want at the bottom, no matter how wavy or tight you prefer.

This year is all about the straight and sleek styles and if you watch the award shows or the movies you will see that the famous women actresses are wearing these looks and making Sedu look fabulous. You can have these looks too! Glamor is not only for celebrities today, you can create these looks with any type of flatiron and take your flat hairstyle and turn it into something head turning with just a few products and a great flatiron. This is a great new style for short and long hair alike and it really does not matter what your facial shape is because this Sedu look can make anyone look as chic as the stars.

Beauty - How to Make an Effective and Natural Deodorant With Household Products

Most people need to use a deodorant in order to avoid bad odours, but buying deodorants is expensive. Often they don't last very long, so you should probably buy one every month.

Some people are even allergic to perfumes or other ingredients in the industrial constructed deodorants.

So in order to save some money, and make a healthier one, why not make your own natural and effective deodorant with cheap household products?

Perhaps you already have everything you need in your home. Or else it should be easy to find in your local supermarket.

You only need bicarbonate and water in the following amounts:

- 1 tablespoon bicarbonate
- 1 cup of water

If you cannot find bicarbonate in a supermarket, you can find it and order it online. Just make a search for "buy bicarbonate", and find a fitting solution for you.

After your douche, you should wash your arm pits with the bicarbonate solution.

Dry yourself gently with a towel, and then powder your arm pits.

Obviously, you will not get any perfume by this method, but it could be an advantage. Who wants to smell of cheap perfume or artificial coconut or vanilla from their deodorant, when they are wearing an expensive perfume?

You can use the bicarbonate solution on every of your problem spots, like feet, under the breasts, crutch etc. You can even take a bath and use bicarbonate instead of salt. Just put two tablespoons of bicarbonate in your bathtub, when you have filled it with hot water.

Great Wedding Hairstyles - How to Choose a Hairstyle For Your Wedding Day

Choosing a great hairstyle for your wedding can be one of the most important things that you do. It is important that when deciding on what type of hairstyle you want to have for your special day you take into consideration your body type. In some cases wearing your hair up will complement your neck line and make your over all look appear elegant. The first thing you want to do is start by looking through the many hairstyle magazines that are available to you. This will help you to narrow down the style that you want to have for your special wedding day.

Once you have decided on about three or four different hairstyles that can be a possibility for you then you want to visit your hairstylist at this point. You need to sit down with them and show them what you have decided and narrow down your search for your perfect wedding day style. It is also important for you to take in consideration the type address that you will be wearing because this can also affect how you should wear your hair. If your wedding dress has a lot of embellishments then you may want to consider wearing your hair up so that people can see the beautiful design.

Remember that one of the most important things about your wedding day hairstyle is to narrow down your search to three or four designs. Before you make a final decision you need to speak with your hairstylist to get their opinion on which decision looks best on you. Make sure you also take into consideration the type of dress that you will be wearing so you know if you should wear your hair up or down.

Prescription Sunglasses - Trendy Yet Useful Eyewear

Picture yourself driving a car or lying on a beach blanket on a hot, sunny day. If you had less than 20/20 vision and if this scenario was set decades ago, chances are you would be rummaging in your bag for tinted prescription lenses to clip on to your eye glasses. Fast-forward to the 21st century where things are done differently. Sure, clip-ons are still widely available, but they're hardly the only choice anymore. Today, with prescription sunglasses, people with less than perfect vision can look cool but not compromise their need for visual clarity.

There are many types of prescription sunglasses to suit any individual's taste and style. Those who prefer clip-ons may consider fitovers, which are separate sun glasses designed to "fit over" existing prescription eyewear. Then there are devices called "adapters." Adapters are prescription lenses designed to snap on the bridge of a pair of sunglasses - thereby transforming them into corrective sunglasses. And of course, there are prescription sunglasses whose lenses are ground to the user's specifications. Usually, the frame and prescription lenses are purchased from the same manufacturer. Famous brands offer this service - among them Oakley and Costa del Mar.

Corrective sunglasses are also a necessity for a number of people who engage in sports. If you've ever watched a professional basketball game (such as those held by the NBA), you've probably seen some of the players wearing snug goggles - these are pretty much like prescription sunglasses, but the latter are geared for outdoor use. So, corrective sunglasses are very popular among athletes such as bikers, race car drivers, snow sports enthusiasts, and many others. And as can be expected, there are numerous popular styles, such as Ray-Ban's classic aviator style and the snug, wrap-around style. Prescription lenses used to be difficult to fit into wrap-around shades; the curve of the frame would require the lenses to be bent, thus distorting images. But quite a number of manufacturers nowadays are able to work around this difficulty and provide corrective lenses for trendy wrap-around shades.

Lenses are available in a wide variety of materials. Even though glass used to be the material of choice because of the optics quality it provides, many people are eschewing it now because of its weight and its propensity to break when hit. Today, prescription lenses are usually made from polycarbonate, high-index, and CR-39 (regular plastic). There is even something called a photochromic lens. This kind of lens is dark in bright sunlight, but turns lighter and more translucent when sunlight is reduced - for instance, when the wearer goes indoors. It may be very convenient because the user doesn't have to remove his or her corrective sunglasses to put on regular glasses. But remember that some photochromic lenses are not designed for ultraviolet (UV) ray protection. And one of the prerequisites of good quality sunglasses, corrective or otherwise, is that they should be at least 90 percent effective in blocking UVA and UVB rays.

People with more complicated vision problems than astigmatism or myopia - such as presbyopia - can also benefit from the wide variety of prescription sunglasses out there today. Those with presbyopic vision oftentimes need bifocals or progressive lenses, which are available in sunglass version. Bifocal sunglasses that are ready to wear (if you already know your prescription) are available from brands such as Action Tropics.

Another innovation in optical wear that are of great benefit to those with vision problems has to do with polarized lenses. This type of lens can be used for corrective sunglasses. The main benefit of polarized sunglasses is that they block the glare that results from sunlight bouncing on surfaces like water, pavement, and snow. They filter the light waves that cause the glare, but allow other types of light wave in, so the wearer gets to enjoy sights under a bright sun naturally, but without having to strain the eyes by squinting against sunlight.

Before going out to purchase a pair of prescription sunglasses, it would be best to visit an eye expert to determine the grade of glasses you need. If you wear contact lenses, remember that your contact lens grade may be different from your spectacles grade. Remember also that certain types of frames may not be suitable for you - either because they are not suited to your face, or because the lenses you need are too thick to fit into the frame you want. In any case, an optician or another eye professional can give you advice and help you choose the right pair of prescription sunglasses for you.

Clothing Shopping

Clothing with writing on, logos, ripped bits, any sort of 'worn' styling, too flared, too tight, too baggy, I can't stand. I like stuff that fits slightly more tightly than regular and neutral colors. I don't like making statements through what I wear, except understatements, if you know what I mean.

It doesn't help either that I don't like shopping on the high street. It's busy man. Real bustling, noisy, hot and bothered busy on those streets. And once you get into the shops it's even busier, noisier and nastier than outside. Every time I try and buy even a pack of socks more often than not I'll bail out amidst the cacophony of modern 21st Century consumerism and head home for the tranquility and peacefulness of shopping for clothes online.

Once I even went into a clothes shop to get measured then went home and ordered a pair of jeans online from the same company that measured me, because I just didn't have the time or inclination to queue amongst the melee.

Until I can afford my own personal Bond street tailor the web is my shopping mall when it comes to clothes. Why? Because it means I can, in the comfort of my own home, (importantly) find those clothes I like (you know, without silly slogans on, frilly bits, etc) and browse through without the worry of getting shouldered by some over-zealous mother dragging her screaming kids down the clothing aisle.

Shopping online for clothes is fun and easy. Rather than worrying about getting out of the shop into the fresh air, you are in a conducive environment for making rational decisions, rather than the environment that dictates: 'it's 5 minutes until the store closes, better get something, anything, otherwise it's been a wasted trip to the busy and overcrowded shops.'

All you really need to know is what size you are, and even if something is too big or too small, most online clothes shops have easy to understand and helpful returns policies.

Apart from having to wait a little bit longer to get your clothes that you've bought online - often deliveries will be just the next day - shopping for clothes online is miles more convenient and tons less stressful.

For me it's almost a victory over the clothing products that I dislike, and the shops that stock them. Getting label-less clothing seems like a marathon effort when you're in the high street. There's a kind of perverse monopoly on style. But online there is a garment democracy, because someone somewhere is making and selling the types of clothes you like.

Be it boxer shorts, denim jeans or cotton shirts - even organic and fair-trade clothing - I can find them so easily on the web. Given that most online clothes stores are UK based and are easy to reach by telephone or email if you need more information, I am sometimes surprised that I even bother to go to the high street.

Maybe I secretly like being shoved around by irate weekend shoppers; although somehow I doubt it.

Little Girl Hairstyles

There are thousands of popular little girl hairstyles that you may want to learn and become familiar with for your next special event or just for something new for everyday. Little girls love to have their hair done just as much as you do, and learning more about the new trends of 2008 you can make your little girl feel like a princess in just a few short minutes! Check out these different hairstyles and techniques below and see if they fit your little girl's hair length and preferences.

  • Every mother likes the convenience of short hairstyles for their little girls because they are easy to maintain. Just as with adults today, the bob is a very popular and can be varied in many different ways to mix it up for different occasions and events. You can straighten the hair, curl it or even create the casual waves that are so popular today. All of these options are quick and easy to create so your little girl will not become impatient during the process! Another great feature of this great hairstyle is it will last all day with very little product.

  • For little girls with medium hair lengths you have more options such as half up look with barrettes or clips, pony tail and even bangs. Many mothers do not like to have bangs on their little girls because they can be so hard to maintain but the side swept bangs are pretty much self contained, so there is nothing for you to do but brush them. These bangs go with everything and you can create the long curls that create a look for special occasions or for everyday.

  • Little girls love to have accessories in their hair such as barrettes, hand bands, pony tails, clips and ribbons. You can be sure that no matter what hairstyle your little girl has, that there is a perfect accessory out there to further compliment it and make their hairstyle a bit more unique. Accessories are a great way to spice up your little girl's hairstyle without having to do a lot of styling or even change their cut.

  • It is important to remember not to use a great deal of products or styling tools when your little girl is under the age of 5years old as they can greatly damage their hair and it can be hard to recover from at such a young age.

  • Take advantage of their young age because they can literally wear any type of hairstyle and look cute! Of course you want to find styles that do not require a lot of maintenance on your part, but there are tons to choose from.

Little girls love to be pampered and a great idea is to take them with you to the salon and see what your hairstylist thinks would be a great look for them. This is not only a great way to find a new hairstyle for the year but to create a nice bonding day as well with mother and daughter.

You can always count on little girl hairstyles to remain the same and classic as they always have. Although little girls are becoming more and more concerned with fashion and style, they will still enjoy their little girl cuts before they want to start looking like their favourite celebrities. Allow your little girl to be creative and change their style whenever they want with accessories and a little product. Enjoy this young age and their love for being pampered with their mother, with so many little girl hairstyles to choose from your little girl will look great no matter where she is.

Top Bridal Hair Styles For 2009

So, you're getting married soon and wonder what the hot hairstyles for this year are going to be?

The word on the street is that brides are going to be wearing the soft, romantic look, with hair down, plenty of ringlets and curls, with a minimum of accessories.

The emphasis is going to be the natural look, with any updos, have some hair loose at the sides or the back for that softer look.

The key to these wedding day styles will be using the right hair products to ensure that your "look" stays perfectly in place for the day.

* If you've got fine hair, test out a few products to give your hair body and stop it from becoming flyaway.

* If you've got curly hair, you may want to try out sprays to give you more control to hold those curls in place.

* If you've got short hair, but want a rather "longer" look for your wedding day, you can opt for hair extensions that look just like your own hair.

Make sure you've found a hairdresser or salon stylist that you can trust and who knows your hair and what you like.

Treat yourself to a regular conditioning treatment in the weeks and months leading up to your wedding day. To keep improving the condition, use a paddle brush and brush it well daily.

On the day, use a shine spray or serum to give that extra special look and a hold spray to keep it in place.

Men's Facial Hair Styling

When it comes to men's facial hair styling there are many different kinds of styles available. Men may go the traditional route of wearing a beard, goatee, or a clean shaven face. Then, there are men who create their own styles that are incredibly original and involve the previous styles just styled in a special way.

Beards

Many older men wear beards and beards are considerably more popular during the winter months. The reason why is that during the summer a beard is especially hot and most men choose to shave it off while it is hot and then re-grow it during the winter. Then there are those men who wear a beard year round just because that is their style.

If you like the idea of a beard then you will need to be patient while it is growing out. Many men can stop shaving and have a full beard within a couple weeks, although once it reaches the desired length it will require grooming to keep it that way. Some men when growing out their beard find they have some bald spots in their beard, don't like the look, and choose another men's facial hair styling since that one is not suited to them.

Goatees

A goatee is the longer facial hair around the mouth and chin. Some men like a full goatee while other men enjoy a half goatee. A half goatee is the hair just on the chin. Even though these styles are very traditional many men create their own style with their goatee. They may grow the facial hair extra long, keep it super short like a five o'clock shadow, or else vary the actual shape of the goatee. Some men like really full, thick, goatees while other men prefer a smaller more clearly defined goatee. The great thing is that men can have fun with their facial hair, try new styles, and always start new if a particular style does not work for them. Facial hair grows fast so scrapping a style and creating a new one takes little effort or time!

Clean Shaven

Another popular facial hair style is to have no facial hair at all! Lots of men are especially fond of the clean shave not to mention their wives and girlfriends. As cool as facial hair looks, it can be irritating to a woman's face so lots of men steer clear of it. The drawback to a clean shave look is that it requires daily maintenance. Some men can get by with shaving every couple days if they aren't especially hairy then there are other men who must shave every day and by 5 pm have that classic shadow. However, a clean shave is classy, elegant, and looks great with all hairstyles.

If you are trying to determine what facial hairstyle to choose you should look through some magazines, look at other people, or even check out styles on your favorite shows to see which facial hairstyle you like most. Once you determine the style you like you can set out to grow it. Then, if you don't like it you can change it up, revert to a clean shave look, or do whatever you want. That's the fun thing about facial hairstyles, they can easily be changed for a dramatic look or to start fresh with a new look!

Dressed Up But Messed Up

When I think of fashion the words, hot and trendy, classy, sophisticated, stylish, and elegant comes to mind; just to name a few. This includes clothing, shoes, handbags, and accessories. I believe that fashion is an expression of one's personality; meaning that you choose the attire that best suits you. When you need to run errands, you may put on sweats and a t-shirt or a pair of jeans and a casual top. For the workplace there is business and/or semi-casual attire. Then there's the "dress to impress" attire for whatever occasion. While some of us are changing into different outfits each day, some of us are making a correlating change to our attitude. I'm sure you have heard the saying, "dressed up but messed up." Unfortunately, more often than not that's what's on display - a messed up attitude.

Just recently, I saw a friend of mine that decided to change her appearance. We were talking about how she wanted to change her hair by cutting it in a short style. A couple of days later, I saw her again and she had a nice little "croppy" hairstyle. As she approached me, she was all smiles as she told me how much she loved her "new look" and how good it made her feel. I'm sure that most women would agree that a "makeover" whether it's a new "up do" to the hair, a new cut, a facial makeover, or change in apparel can definitely enhance one's appearance. A positive change can bring about a certain level of confidence that may not be present.

Ladies, there is absolutely nothing wrong with feeling good about yourself when you're making positive changes but at what juncture do you ensure that your attitude does not take a negative turn because of the clothes you wear or the "makeup" you put on? When is it appropriate to do a self-examination to prevent the spread of "It's all about me" infection? To think that anything that you can put on and take off can command respect is a false expectation in my opinion. Recently, I have encountered a friend that I'll call "B" that accepted a promotion. "B" and I got along well with each other. Our conversations were good and we could talk on a personal tip about a lot of things including the pros and cons of the promotion. "B" was offered and accepted the promotion and shortly thereafter their acceptance, their attitude and appearance took on a whole new face. "B's" attire went from casual to business professional and that somehow was translated to mean that it was no longer necessary to give people the same respect that they felt they deserved. Our conversations were now streamlined to suit "B" instead of our usual open and honest communication.

Just because you can fly doesn't make you a bird any more than changing your attire can make you respectful. Clothes don't make the person, but they can sure change your look. While looking good to the eye is pleasant, make sure your attitude is dressed for respect and not just dressed up but messed.

Can Pay Per View Help You Get A Better Hair Style?

Have you ever taken a hair styles photo to your hair stylist and asked for the exact same cut, only to be disappointed with the results? Many times, the reason for such a situation is that a lot of hair stylists do not have the time or money to attend hair cutting education and training programs or to purchase very expensive training videos to learn the latest techniques for trendy and sometimes complicated hair styles of today.

Francesco Rizzuto, founder of http://www.hair-brain.com, conducted four focus groups and determined without exception that hair stylists conveyed that they all wanted the education, but they all wanted it to fit into their lives and budget. He adds that there are a lot of single moms in the hair industry that simply cannot afford to attend high quality classes or shows, some of them even live in areas where traveling to get to a class is not an option.

Rizzuto analyzed his marketing research and decided to investigate opening a video store with affordable rental training tapes. He says, "If hairdressers had access to current hair education on a rental basis, then they would be more enticed to learn and be motivated." After exploring the concept of a video store further, Rizzuto discovered that there would not be enough current material out there to fill a video store. The content that was available was old, outdated or very expensive.

And then a light bulb went on and the idea of a Pay Per View video hair instructional website was born. Anyone anywhere in the world could view the instructional videos online for a very reasonable fee and apply what they had learned immediately. So the website http://www.hair-brain.com was developed and officially launched in July 2005. Rizzuto, a salon owner, hairdresser, fashion photographer and educator, also decided to film his own content. Each 15-20 minute video takes about 3 hours to film and a few more hours to edit.

The videos, which cost $6.95 to view once, are primarily education based, and sometimes mention certain tools or products that work well with the hair styles they are creating. They last between 15 and 20 minutes and can only be viewed once. Basically what Hair-Brain offers is the ability to get the education without having to buy the video at a considerable cost. Most hairdressers agree that once they see how it's done they have no need for the video. With Hair-Brain they can look at it as if it's a rental, although the movie presentations are available for purchase at a very low cost, $17.95USD.

Rizzuto hand picks all of the educators that present the videos on the site based on their outstanding work in the industry. Some are well known, such as Martin Parsons, and corporate educators such as Schwarzkopf.

Currently there are about thirty video presentations to choose from on the website, and Rizzuto plans to add about 30 more by the end of the year.
Some of the topics available include the tousled look, mid length cut, retro fashion Mohawk, layers with long hair, shine and texture, Spanish look with extensions, texturizing short hair, heavy layered cut, hair color, wedding updo and 5 tail chignon among many others.

The training videos are not limited to hair instruction, as there is a video by Dr. John Arlette where he demonstrates Botox and Fillers. By observing these before and after videos, consumers can make a more informed choice with respect to non surgical procedures. Rizzuto has included Dr. John Arlette as an educator because Botox fits into the Hair-Brain.com format of education plus beauty.

Future videos will include techniques for hair extensions for professionals and consumers, perming, barbering, coloring, bridal looks, braiding, ethnic hair and straightening just to name of few. They also plan to endorse and perhaps retail quality tools of the trade that are mentioned on the site.

Although Hair-Brain was first designed for the professional hairdresser, Rizzuto mentions that he is finding on occasion that the consumer is logging on to find a look that they like. "Recently, a woman wrote us to let us know that she found the perfect look for her wedding on Hair-Brain.com (Martin Parsons "Wedding Band" updo featured on the site currently). She was going to tell her hairdresser to go to the site and learn it so he could do it for her wedding day," Rizzuto says.

Rizzuto says so far http://www.hair-brain.com has been a great success. "We are getting clients from the USA, Canada, UK, Japan and even Brazil. Once of our clients recently purchased one of each of our videos," he adds. Salon Magazine's (Canada) publisher Laura Dunphy wrote in her editorial "Back to school" (September issue) that http://www.hair-brain.com is "A brilliant solution for hairdressers".

In short, pay per view CAN help you get a better hair style. The education and training videos are available 24 hours a day, anywhere in the world and all for a low price. It is designed by hairstylists for hairstylists. For the price of a large gourmet coffee today, you can be a better hairdresser tomorrow. Is your hair stylist a Hair Brain?

Francesco Rizzuto is 44 years old and has been in the hair industry since 1978 when he started hair design school in Toronto, Canada. After graduation, he worked as an assistant at Vidal Sassoon and was awarded the position of "Junior Stylist" after one year of very hard work. Eventually he worked his way up to chief educator. Education is a very big part of the Vidal Sassoon Formula.

Francesco has fulfilled his vision of creating an affordable, accessible, and most importantly, effective educational tool for beauty industry professionals, fashion enthusiasts, and the general public. Currently he juggles his schedule as a salon owner, hairdresser, fashion photographer and educator. Hair-Brain.com offices are currently located in Calgary, Alberta in Canada.

What Plus Size Women Should Wear And Should Not Wear

Everybody wants to be fashionable. Of course, plus size women need not aspire to become popular ramp models, but they could try to be as fascinating as typical models by coming up with good decisions about what to and what not to wear.

What to wear

Stretchy pants and drab tent dresses are considered the basic types of outfits that plus size women must have in their closets. Polyester pants are also among those basic clothings for such women. Through the years, it has been very usual to see obese women wear such clothes to play safe and avoid fashion verdicts.

But modern plus size women are turning more experimental. Fashion experts and retailers are now increasing their focus on this segment of the female population. Now, almost any type of clothes usually worn by slimmer women can be worn by plus size ones. The designs, colors and styles can be the same, but sizes make the difference.

As many experts always tell plus size women, to emerge as fashionable upon wearing an outfit or any accompanying accessories, one has to put up a good attitude and exude overwhelming confidence. Plus size women, no matter how bruised their egos and self esteems are, should also take that heed. Thus, the best thing to wear for these females when aiming to please people is a sense of confidence.

What not to wear

In the contrary, there are several types of clothes that plus size women should always resist to wear. Take note that while it is true that some clothes can look good on these women when sizes are adjusted, these casual clothes would fail to make such women visually appealing.

Denim jeans are among those clothes. Because it is considered a fashion staple, people wear jeans safely in almost any occasion. Jeans go along well with practically anything and anyone. But not with plus size women. Jeans only highlight the fatty areas of the lower part of the body.

Halter tops surely help make women feel comfortable especially during spring and summer, but they are not ideal to be worn by plus size women. Doing so would only accentuate fat bellies and sides, making the obese woman look more as an object of ridicule.

Overall, plus size women of today are very fortunate. That is because they have greater choices of what to wear and more knowledge about those outfits they can live without.

Herbs That Increase Women's Libido

Women can experience a decrease in libido for a variety of reasons, many of which can be linked to changes in their body as they age. While in most cases, this decrease in sex drive is perfectly natural, it can leave a woman feeling unsatisfied and helpless to satisfy her partner. While men have pills like Viagra or Cialis to fall back on, women are often left floundering for a solution to a decrease in libido.

It is true that there is no magic blue pill for women, but certain herbs have been proven to have a very positive effect on increasing a woman's libido. Taken in the correct combination, these herbs can have the same or stronger effect on a woman's libido as the above mentioned pills for men.

Damiana extract (Turnera Aphrodisiaca) is a mild euphoric herb that helps to relax the body and the mind. This effect is seen to reduce stress and make it possible for a woman to get in the mood to have sex. It has also been shown to help balance female hormones.

Avena Sativa is another herb to help a woman relax. It also increases the sensitivity of the vaginal region to touch sensations.

Ginkgo Biloba increases metabolism and blood flow. It has been linked to the formation of nitric oxide in the blood which acts as a vasodilator to increase the flow of blood in the more peripheral regions, including the vagina. It also helps to control the levels of certain neurotransmitters to improve mood and relieve stress.

Shatavri extract helps to moisten tissues that are drying out including those of the vagina. It also increases the production of testosterone in the female body, which has been shown to have a definite link to female libido.

Dong Quai has been called the ultimate for improving female libido. It has several different effects on the female body from improving blood flow to balancing estrogen levels and reducing hot flashes. It also helps to remoisten normally moist tissues such as the vagina.

While no one of these herbs alone is the ultimate herb for increasing a woman's libido, taken in the correct combination, these herbs can help to put the sizzle back into making love.
